I shared my story at the PayPal event but I decided to drop of college my senior year to pursue a startup I was passionate about. My parents were opposed to the idea since they had paid for 3 years of college and didn’t want to see me not get a degree. So, I decided to do the startup much to their chagrin but committed that I would get my degree as well. I ran the start-up for 2 years, sold it to a company in Boston and enrolled back in school to finish my degree.
