My “I speak my truth” brain tattoo represents the way I have chosen to live my life after losing my dad unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident when I was eight years old. Experiencing that kind of loss so young taught me that tomorrow is never promised and that any conversation could be the last one we have with someone. Because of that, I believe deeply in being honest, genuine, and unafraid to say what is truly in my heart, even when it is difficult. To me, speaking my truth means living authentically, expressing love, gratitude, forgiveness, and hard feelings without waiting for a “better time” that may never come. Everyone deserves honesty and sincerity, and this motto is a daily reminder to never leave important words unspoken.
