The reason I chose "Life is a Labor of Love" because it was inspired by my mom. She spent her adult life helping others. She was a wife, a mother and a pastor. She dedicated her life to acquiring a better life and home for our family. She came from humble beginnings on a farm and moved to the big city to make a better life for herself. She never finished grade school but she had ambitions. She worked hard, learned from others and built a career in the retail industry. She met my dad and they built a life together. She reached for the stars and bought property, a home. She valued her faith in God and found her calling in ministry. She pushed me and my sister to further our education far beyond anything she could have done. We both graduated from college with two degrees. She mentored young people within her church to be educated and thrive for greatness. Many went on to have successful careers and leaders within their community. Her tenacity was paramount. She believed love conquers all and she never faltered from that. Her life was a labor of love and she never regretted one day of it.
