I'm the last of ten kids and I think that I made an effort growing up to learn from everybody. They were all a little bit different, I had a priest and a hippie and truck drivers and you know, health care people and everything. And I tried to focus on learning what I could from anybody who came around. And I'm a learner, that's one of my strengths now, so I try to remember that and I try to learn something from everybody I come in contact with. C: What was that like growing up? Fun! There was always somebody in the house. We had our own baseball team and played the neighborhood. It was great. Until they all moved out, then it was a little sad. C: Do you have a favorite memory? Well, one year we piled in the family station wagon – not everybody – there were 7 people total in the station wagon and we drove out to see my sister in Arizona. My dad, when he was driving, he use to always hold up one finger and say 'There's always one... there's always one!' who disagrees with the rest or whatever. It wasn't usually me, I was usually trying to get along and go along and not stand out. I tried to be the peacemaker and everything.
